Hello, I am Ali Rogers, and I am not accepting how old I have become !

By profession I am a Chartered Accountant so Horses are my passion, life and happy place.

I started riding at the age of 12 and my focus was eventing so I learnt all the disciplines. I found Show Jumping the most difficult phase so I concentrated on this to get better ! I have been really lucky to be trained by many amazing experts, originally with Les Evans and more recently Paul Crago and Joao Charlesworth, (both UK BS Accredited coaches) 20 years ago I even had a lesson with John Whitaker !

I get great satisfaction in helping and training other riders and seeing them progress regardless of level or ability. I have jumped locally for many years on young horses and more experienced ones. I have represented the island on numerous occasions as part of the show jumping team and had many great battles with our sister island and UK teams.

I have competed in the UK for many years, Hickstead and County shows were my favourites. More recently I have been able to compete in France, Belgium and Portugal. Pre Covid / Brexit The Atlantic Tour in Vilamoura was the highlight of my year with a great combination of friends, horses and sunshine. Hopefully that will happen again.

I am super excited about helping Home Farm develop as a club and I want to inspire others to improve and get the most out of the sport we all love.
