I am Bev and I really am the New Kid on the Block! Although I have always had an interest in and love of horses, I had my very first riding lesson in June this year! My daughter Charly (who is a more experienced rider than me) and I had the opportunity of buying the gorgeous Dan in July – and although this came around a lot quicker than we had anticipated – we couldn’t be happier with him, and so glad that we went for it. We have been so lucky to have had the support and friendship of the Home Farm Equestrian Team, and thank them for their help, guidance and patience. We have already taken full advantage of the clinics that are offered eg Confidence, Poles and a talk from an Equine Chiropractor – and the new Hacking Club is just fantastic.
I have met so many new riders and horse owners of all different levels, and it is just wonderful that everyone wants to share their experience, knowledge and friendship with us. This is the whole ethos of Home Farm Equestrian, and I really am proud and happy to be part of it. Charly and I look forward to gaining more confidence as time goes on and further enjoying all of the events that are planned.
