Having been lucky enough to grow up with horses first just ponies at home then going on to compete in various disciplines at various levels on various horses both my own and of clients usually deemed difficult or quirky!
I then became interested in course design first locally then was lucky enough to shadow Steve Williams being involved in show design/build teams at various high level shows like Chepstow international, wales and west, royal highland the new forest show and royal Cornwall for several years.
I enjoy both the showjumping and eventing competitions as well as working hunter after hunting various horses and whipped in for 3 seasons with the western in south Cornwall. Not only do I judge and appreciate the show side of working hunter but also the practical side of a hunter and the necessary attributes course building and judging workers is a personal favourite of mine knowing the true qualities required of a real hunter.
I have designed/built many royal international and horse of the year show qualifications for the British show horse society bsps nps as well as many qualifier classes for their associations winter and summer championships.
