I am the currently between horses, while I am a full-time groom and taxi service to my daughters pony experiences. Amelia enjoys show jumping, hunting, dressage and cross-country with various clubs on the island, but you will always see us hacking throughout St Ouen and bordering parishes.
I started riding as a child, but education and work meant I took a break for about 15 years, then I began going on riding experience holidays, and have since ridden all over Europe and the UK including Ireland, Morocco, Egypt, Romania and Transylvania, Bulgaria, Hungry and Catalonia. I am what you call a ‘happy hacker’ and love spending ‘hours’ in the saddle.
We have been in Jersey for the last 8 years, and I have had the pleasure of riding/exercising several beautiful horses. There isn’t many roads or off-road routes for hacking I do not know in the West or East of the Island.
