I can always remember having a huge love of horses. As a teenager, I was lucky enough to have a lease pony to explore the beautiful Yorkshire countryside with my friends.

It was not until 12 years ago, when I bought my first horse Zulu, that I started having riding lessons.

With a lot of help and support from my yard owner, new friends and patient instructors, I was out hunting the following year with my children in tow. Very quickly, I was in full swing as a Pony Club mother for my two daughters – first with the 12.2 then the 14.2 ponies.

Life revolved around horse events and equestrian maintenance, and although it was time consuming and hard work, it provided us all with an amazing luxury outdoor lifestyle and the most wonderful memories.

Now my children are grown up, I found myself with much more time on my hands, so I was privileged to be invited onto the Home Farm team.

I own 3 horses; Zulu my retired hunter and Dude our new family friend both live with me at home.
Lexie my children’s out grown 14.2 is now lucky to be staying at my friends yard with her two girls to continue take her out to fun events.
